Let's not get into this here. It could only get worse. But a couple of things to point out:
1) You argue that if you are from New York, then you should root for the Yankees. But, of course, the Yankees aren't the only baseball team in New York. They aren't even the only team in New York City. So New Yorker--> Yankees Fan doesn't make any sense. Typical.
2) Rudy Guiliani. What a fuck.
3) It wasn't just any program.

I'll agree to a truce, mostly to protect the eyes and minds of our delicate .govs. Just one last thing for the record: I like the Mets too (fond memories of Grandma Marge rooting for wild pitches), and it does make me squirm to see Guiliani sitting next to a uniformed fireman at every single home game...what a douche
